Workflow Features

On the Workflows page you can do the following:

  • View workflow actions and workflows
  • Create new workflow actions and workflows
  • Edit workflow actions and workflows
  • Delete workflow actions and workflows

NOTE:

Before using Finesse Workflows and Workflow Actions, it is important to note they have the following limitation:

  • 100 workflows per Cisco Finesse system
  • 100 workflow actions per Cisco Finesse system
  • 20 workflows per team
  • 5 conditions per workflow
  • 5 actions per workflow
  • 5 variables per workflow action

Workflow Actions Tab

The Workflow Actions tab is selected by default when accessing Workflows under the Finesse Admin menu. From this tab you can view and manage workflow actions.

Using Workflow Actions

Workflow Actions Count – Displays the number of workflow actions listed under the Workflow Actions tab.

Actions Button – Reveals the Actions menu providing options for the following actions:

  • Create New Workflow Action – Creates a new workflow action. (See Create a Workflow Action for more information.)
  • Clear all filters – Clears all search fields and sorting options on the page.
  • Export Data – Export Workflow Actions tab data in CSV and PDF file formats.

NOTE:

  • Columns – Show or hide Workflow Actions tab columns.

Selection Indicators – Allows for the selection of workflow actions. Selecting workflow actions adds the option to export only selected data from the Actions menu.

Name Column – Lists the names for all available workflow actions.

Type Column – Displays the type for each workflow action.

Task Icons – Icons used to perform various tasks for managing workflow actions. The task icons allow you to perform the following actions:

  • Edit Workflow Action – Edit a workflow action to make any necessary changes. (See Edit a Workflow Action for more information.)
  • Delete Workflow Action – Delete the workflow action. (See Delete a Workflow Action for more information.)

Using Workflows

Workflows Count – Displays the number of workflows listed under the Workflows tab.

Selection Indicators – Allows for the selection of workflows. The selection indicator located at the very top, in the column header, selects or deselects all listed workflows. Selecting workflows adds the option to export only selected data from the Actions menu.

Media Column – Displays the media associated with the workflow.

Task Icons – Icons used to perform various tasks for managing workflows. The task icons allow you to perform the following actions:
