Manage Workflow Assignments for an Agent Team
Any workflows created using the Finesse Admin Workflows tool can be assigned to or removed from an agent team using the Agent Teams tool.
Accessing the Manage Workflows Dialog
The Manage Workflows dialog uses assignment panes which provide an easy way to manage workflow assignments for an agent team. To access this dialog, do the following:
- Locate the agent team needing workflows assigned or un-assigned.
- Click the Edit Workflows task icon located on the same row of the team.
Understanding the Manage Workflows Interface
The Manage Workflows dialog consists of the following two panes:
- Assigned Workflows Pane – Lists all workflows currently assigned to the selected agent team.
- Available Workflows Pane – Lists all workflows currently available for assigning to the selected agent team.
To learn more about using assignment panes, see Assignment Panes Interface.
Access the Manage Workflows dialog, as previously mentioned, and assign workflows to an agent team by doing the following:
- Place a check next to each workflow to assign to the agent team in the Available Workflows pane. To quickly select all available workflows for assignment, click the Select All check box.
- Click the Assign button to move selected workflows to the Assigned Workflows pane.
The selected workflows now display at the top of the Assigned Workflows pane. The green highlighting indicates any workflows recently assigned, but not yet saved.
- Click the Save button to save the changes, or click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
Access the Manage Workflows dialog, as previously mentioned, and un-assign workflows from an agent team by doing the following:
- Place a check next to each workflow to un-assign from the agent team in the Assigned Workflows pane. To quickly select all assigned workflows for un-assignment, click the Select All check box.
- Click the Un-assign button to move selected workflows to the Available Workflows pane.
The selected workflows now display at the top of the Available Workflows pane. The red highlighting indicates any workflows recently un-assigned, but not yet saved.
- Click the Save button to save the changes, or click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
