Assign or Un-Assign Users for a Phone
The Users to Phones tool is used for quick assignment of users or agents to a selected phone. This tool is commonly used to assign users or agents after a new phone has been added, as it allows you to select and add multiple users or agents at one time.
Accessing Users to Phone
To access the Users to Phone page:
Select Phones to reveal additional features on the Humanify Portal navigation menu.
Select the Users to Phone feature.
Understanding the Users to Phone Interface
The Users to Phone page consists of the following three panes:
- Phones Pane – Displays a list of available phones.
- Assigned Users Pane – Lists all users currently assigned to the selected phone.
- Available Users Pane – Lists all users currently available for assigning to the selected phone.

To assign users to a phone:
- Locate and select the phone needing user(s) assigned from the Phones Pane.
- Place a check next to each user to assign to the phone in the Available Users Pane. To quickly select all available users for assignment, click the Select All check box.
- Click the Assign button to move selected users to the Assigned Users Pane.
The selected users now display at the top of the Assigned Users Pane. The green highlighting indicates any users recently assigned, but not yet saved.
- Click the Save button to save the changes, or click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
A success confirmation displays in the upper right corner upon successfully saving the changes. The message disappears after a few seconds.
To un-assign users from a phone:
- Locate and select the phone needing users un-assigned from the Phones Pane.
- Place a check next to each user to select them in the Assigned Users Pane. To quickly select all assigned users for removal, click the Select All check box.
- Click the Un-assign button to move selected users to the Available Users Pane.
The selected users now display at the top of the Available Users Pane. The red highlighting indicates any users recently un-assigned, but not yet saved.
- Click the Save button to save the changes, or click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
A success confirmation displays in the upper right corner upon successfully saving the changes. The message disappears after a few seconds.
