Edit an Agent Team

If an agent team changes and they start performing different or additional duties within the contact center, you can update the name and description to reflect those changes. Updating this information will help you to better locate and understand the purpose for each agent team.

Editing an Agent Team

Change an agent team's name and description by doing the following:

  1. Locate the agent team to edit.
  2. Click the Edit Team task icon located on the same row of the team to edit. This opens the Edit Reason dialog box.

  1. Update the name of the team by replacing the text in the Team Name field. The name cannot include spaces. If needed, use an underscore (_) to separate words.(Required field.)
  2. Enter or update the description for the agent team by replacing the text in the Description field. The description can contain information such as the location of the team, or the type of calls they receive.
  3. Save any changes made to the agent team by clicking the Save button. Click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
