Teller Behavior
When the Recent Transactions feature is invoked from a Teller menu, Teller performs the following steps:
- Account Selection
Teller determines whether the caller has one or more eligible accounts (Checking, Savings, Certificate, or IRA, as configured).
- If the caller has one account, Teller automatically selects it.
- If the caller has multiple accounts, Teller prompts the caller to identify the account. The caller can identify the account by:
- Entering the entity number
- Pressing # to hear a list of available accounts
- Menu-Inherited Selection If the feature is accessed from a product-specific menu or submenu, the account may be pre-selected (inherited) based on the established menu context. When inherited:
- Teller does not prompt for account selection
- The pre-selected account is used directly for processing
This applies when navigating from product-specific menus such as CKMN, SVMN, CIMN, IRMN. Submenus under these menus retain the same product context as the parent menu.
Note: The availability of entity list playback depends on the Entity Entry Settings configuration in the Teller Profile. - Transaction Retrieval and Playback
Once the account is selected, Teller retrieves transactions based on configuration. Transactions are filtered using:
Teller plays transactions one at a time in sequence. Information played for each transaction includes:
- Posted date
- Transaction amount
- Transaction description
- Transaction source (if available and configured)
- Check number (if available and configured)
- Post-Interaction
After each transaction is played, Teller allows the caller to:
- Listen to the next transaction
- Repeat the current transaction
- Continue to the next menu
- If the caller chooses to repeat, the current transaction is replayed.
- If the caller chooses to continue, Teller routes the caller to the OOPT (Other Options Menu). At the OOPT menu, callers may:
- Return to a previous menu
- Select another Teller feature
- Disconnect the call
- No History Handling
If no transactions are available:
- Teller plays a message indicating that no transaction history is available
- Depending on configuration, the message may include the configured lookback period (number of days)
- After the message is played, Teller routes the caller to the OOPT menu
