Configure Global Desktop

Configure the Global Desktop to customize a global appearance for agents and supervisors.

Clusters – Allows you to select which Finesse cluster's global desktop configuration displays on the page.

Finesse Layout XML – This field contains the XML for the current global Finesse Desktop layout. Edit this XML to customize the Finesse Desktop for agents and supervisors.

Themes – Select a theme for the Finesse Layout XML text field. This option does not affect the appearance of the Finesse Desktop for agents or supervisors.

Save – Click this button to save any changes made to the Finesse Layout XML text field.

Restore Default Layout – Click this button to restore the Finesse Layout XML field to the default state it was in before any changes were made.

After clicking the Restore Default Layout button the Confirm Restore dialog displays. Click the Yes button to confirm, or click the No button to cancel the operation.

Finesse Default Layout XML – Click to expand and display the default layout XML. Use this as a reference when editing the Finesse Layout XML. This is also the default XML that gets restored after clicking the Restore Default Layout button.
