Audit a Phone Book
On the Phone Books page, an Audit Phone Books feature is available for all phone books. Audit allows for viewing and tracking any changes made to a phone book and displays the history of any changes made based on the following:
- Contact added, edited, or deleted
NOTE:
An audit entry is created for any phone book added using the Phone Books tool. If a phone book is synchronized from Finesse, an audit entry will not be created.
Accessing Audit Phone Book
Access Audit Phone Book by doing the following:
- Locate the phone book to audit on the Phone Books page.
- Click the Audit Phone Book task icon located on the same row of the phone book.

Filtering Search by Audit Types
Before performing the audit search, select the type of audit to filter the results by. The Audit Phone Books feature has the following audit type filters available:
- All – Displays results for all audit change types.
- User/Changed by – Displays only audit results for phone book changes made by a user.
Audit Results
The following are changes frequently displayed in Audit Phone Books results:
- <User First Name> <User Last Name> created the contact <First Name> <Last Name>.
- <User First Name> <User Last Name> updated contact <First Name> <Last Name>.
