Description Indicates the method that will be used to handle joint members associated with an account in the Phoenix core system.

Purpose Controls whether joint accounts are available for inquiries, transfers, and withdrawals, and whether they are treated the same as primary accounts.

Valid Values

• P – Use only primary accounts
  Joint accounts are not used. Only primary accounts will be available.
• X – Use primary accounts only, but allow joint accounts in cross-account transactions
  Only primary accounts are listed, however joint accounts are available for cross-account fund transfers and withdrawals.
• J – Combine primary and joint accounts
  Primary and joint accounts are combined, and joint accounts are treated the same as primary accounts.
