Description Defines the numeric value of the Preference Record Type that should be used with SmartApps applications.

Purpose Controls which Symitar preference record type is used by SmartApps when retrieving or matching preference records. Allows institutions to specify either a specific preference record type or use the first matching record when PIN information is not provided.

Valid Values

• 0 – 99 Use a specific Preference Record Type.
• 999 Indicates that the PIN is passed in and the first preference record found that has a matching PIN is used.
• 9999 Indicates that the PIN is not passed in and the first preference record found is used.

Default Value 999
