1075 - DNA – Invalid attempts before freezing

Description Indicates the number of times a caller can fail validation of PIN with other invalid authentication information before the system freezes the VRU Card Agreements associated with the PERS found in GetAccessNumbers.

Purpose Controls when SmartApps authentication triggers freezing of VRU Card Agreements within a single call. Allows institutions to define the number of failed authentication attempts permitted before lockout occurs.

Valid Values

• 0 Do not freeze agreements.
• 1 – 999 Number of invalid authentication attempts allowed before agreements are frozen.

Default Value 3
