Text-to-Speech Playback
Purpose
These settings control how SmartApps IVR reads out account, deposit, and transaction details during a call.
Prerequisites
- Caller must be authenticated.
- Source data must exist in the core system.
Configuration Steps:
- Navigate to System Personality Configuration → Text-to-Speech Settings → Play Source.
- You can enable or disable each language independently.
Limitations
- If source data is missing, incomplete, or not supported, the IVR will skip the TTS portion of playback.
- Playback is TTS-based (not prerecorded audio).
- Language availability depends on your system’s multilingual settings.
Purpose
Plays the source of a transaction when available in English.
Example: "ATM withdrawal at Main Street Branch."

Plays the source of a transaction when available in Spanish.
Example: “Retiro en cajero automático en la sucursal de Main Street.”

Example: “A direct deposit from ACME Payroll was received today.”
