Withdrawal Settings
Purpose
Withdrawal Settings define how Teller processes check withdrawal requests for callers.
This section controls whether withdrawals to checks are allowed, whether withdrawals are available from checking or savings entities, whether updated balances or confirmation numbers are played, and whether withdrawal fees, delivery messages, and withdrawal limits apply.

- Allow withdrawals from checking entities.
- Allow withdrawals from savings entities.
- Control whether updated balances are played after withdrawals.
- Control whether confirmation numbers are played after withdrawals.

Check Withdrawal Configuration
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether callers can request withdrawals by check.
Behavior: When enabled, eligible withdrawal-to-check features may be available based on product eligibility and menu configuration.
Caller Impact: Caller may be able to request a withdrawal issued as a check.
Default Value: Enabled
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether checking entities are eligible for withdrawal requests.
Behavior: When enabled, eligible checking entities may be available as withdrawal source entities.
Caller Impact: Caller may be able to withdraw funds from an eligible checking entity.
Default Value: Disabled
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether savings entities are eligible for withdrawal requests.
Behavior: When enabled, eligible savings entities may be available as withdrawal source entities.
Caller Impact: Caller may be able to withdraw funds from an eligible savings entity.

Purpose: Controls whether Teller plays updated balance information after a withdrawal is completed.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller plays the updated balance after successful withdrawal processing.
Caller Impact: Caller hears updated balance information after completing a withdrawal.

Purpose: Controls whether Teller plays a confirmation number after a withdrawal is completed.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller plays a confirmation number after successful withdrawal processing.
Caller Impact: Caller hears a confirmation number for the completed withdrawal.
Default Value: Disabled

Purpose: Controls whether withdrawal options are hidden from the transfer/withdrawal menu.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller suppresses withdrawal options from the applicable transfer/withdrawal menu.
Caller Impact: Caller may not hear withdrawal options in the menu even if other transfer or payment options are available.
Default Value: Disabled
Withdrawal Fees
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether Teller plays a fee confirmation message before completing a withdrawal.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller informs the caller of the configured fee and may require confirmation before continuing.
Caller Impact: Caller hears the withdrawal fee information before the withdrawal is processed.
Default Value: Enabled
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether the withdrawal fee is posted to the core system.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller submits the configured fee information to the core during withdrawal processing.
Caller Impact: The configured withdrawal fee may be posted to the caller's account.
Default Value: Enabled
Type: Numeric Field / Amount
Purpose: Defines the withdrawal fee amount.
Behavior: Teller uses this amount when fee confirmation or fee posting is enabled.
Caller Impact: Caller may hear or be charged the configured withdrawal fee amount.
Allowed Range: 0.00 - 9999.99
Example Value: 3.00
Type: Text/String
Purpose: Defines the fee description used for withdrawal fee processing.
Behavior: Teller may include this description when submitting fee information to the core.
Caller Impact: No direct caller impact unless the description is used in downstream transaction records or statements.
Default Value: None
Type: Text/String
Purpose: Defines the core fee code used for withdrawal fee posting.
Behavior: Teller uses this value when posting the withdrawal fee to the core, if fee posting is enabled.
Caller Impact: No direct caller impact.

Withdrawal Delivery
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether Teller plays a delivery message for withdrawal checks.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller plays delivery timing information using the configured delivery time period and unit.
Caller Impact: Caller hears information about the expected withdrawal check delivery timeframe.
Default Value: Enabled
Type: Numeric Field
Purpose: Defines the number used for the withdrawal delivery timeframe.
Behavior: Teller uses this value together with the selected delivery unit to build the delivery message.
Caller Impact: Caller hears the configured delivery timeframe when the delivery message is enabled.

Type: Dropdown
Purpose: Defines the unit used with the withdrawal delivery time period.
Behavior: Teller combines the selected unit with the configured time period when playing the delivery message.
Caller Impact: Caller hears the delivery timeframe in days or weeks, based on the selected value.

Withdrawal Limits
Type: Dropdown
Purpose: Defines whether withdrawal transaction limits are enforced.
Behavior: The selected limitation type determines whether Teller restricts withdrawal activity by dollar amount, transaction count, both amount and count, or applies no restrictions.
Caller Impact: Caller may be restricted from completing withdrawals that exceed configured withdrawal limitation thresholds.

Default Value: No Restrictions
Type: Toggle/Boolean
Purpose: Controls whether Teller plays a limitation message when configured withdrawal limits are exceeded.
Behavior: When enabled, Teller informs the caller when a withdrawal request exceeds configured limitation rules.
Caller Impact: Caller hears an informational message explaining that the requested withdrawal exceeds configured limitations.
Default Value: Disabled
Conditional Behavior: This field appears when the selected limitation type is not No Restrictions.
Type: Numeric Field
Purpose: Defines the rolling time period, in hours, used for withdrawal limitation evaluation.
Behavior: Teller evaluates completed withdrawals within the configured hour period when determining whether configured withdrawal limitations have been exceeded.
Caller Impact: Caller withdrawal eligibility may depend on previous withdrawal activity within the configured period.
Allowed Range: 0 - 999 hours

Conditional Behavior: This field appears when the selected limitation type is:
- Both amount and number
- Dollar amount by period
- Number withdrawals by period
Type: Numeric Field / Amount
Purpose: Defines the maximum cumulative dollar amount allowed during the configured withdrawal limitation period.
Behavior: Teller tracks cumulative withdrawal amounts within the configured limitation period and restricts withdrawals that exceed the configured dollar threshold.
Caller Impact: Caller may be prevented from completing withdrawals that exceed the configured dollar maximum during the active limitation period.
Allowed Range: 0.00 - 99,999.99

Conditional Behavior: This field appears when the selected limitation type is:
- Both amount and number
- Dollar amount by period
Type: Numeric Field
Purpose: Defines the maximum number of withdrawals allowed during the configured limitation period.
Behavior: Teller tracks completed withdrawals within the configured limitation period and restricts additional withdrawals once the configured transaction count limit has been reached.
Caller Impact: Caller may be prevented from completing additional withdrawals after reaching the configured maximum withdrawal count.
